Thames–Coromandel District Council (TCDC) Water Services is planning to undertake a district wide CCTV investigation program for the condition assessment of underground wastewater and stormwater pipelines. This is a critical exercise to ensure uninterrupted service delivery, improve understanding of performance, and identify renewal requirements for these essential underground networks.


The Contract Works initially provide for the CCTV inspection of approximately 6km of wastewater pipes and 4.4km of Stormwater pipes in Whitianga. This includes the associated setting up, pre-cleaning and disposal of removed materials. The contract also includes inspection of the associated manholes.
