Overview
TCDC has recently adopted a Water Demand Management Strategy for the district and is also embarking on
universal metering of all its urban communities. The contribution that the strategy will have on demand will
need to be considered by the Whitianga water supply strategy
TCDC wish to develop this strategy in two phases and have no pre-conceived solutions in mind currently.
Phase 1 will be to determine the issues and determine several high-level options for Council consideration.
Phase 2 will be progress the preferred option(s) to a point where a preferred solution is selected.
