The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of the upcoming release of Registration of Interest on the 6 July 2026.

This procurement will be conducted as a two-stage process, comprising an ROI followed by a Request for Proposal (RFP).

Tauranga City Council (TCC) is seeking to engage suppliers to deliver multidisciplinary professional services to support its wastewater programme. This includes providing strategy, planning, design, and technical support during construction for the wastewater treatment plants, along with associated treated effluent and biosolids management.

Suppliers must demonstrate local capability and resourcing within Tauranga, as this is a mandatory requirement for participation.

The contract will include an extension clause, subject to the supplier meeting the agreed performance criteria across each engagement period

ROI anticipated to be released July 2026
RFP anticipated to be released August 2026
Project Commencement : 01 November 2026

Project Completion : 3 years engagement (3 + 1 +1)
