Overview

Tauranga City Council (TCC) invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit a tender for TC343/25 – Speed Management Plan Implementation - Physical Works.

This procurement is being undertaken jointly by Tauranga City Council and Western Bay of Plenty District Council (WBOPDC) to enable coordinated delivery of works across both council road networks. Tauranga City Council will be the Principal under the Contract, with works delivered under separate scopes within each network.

The scope includes health and safety, site establishment, utility identification, resident liaison, installation of static and Council supplied variable speed limit (VSL) signage, relocation or masking of existing signage, activation of signage, completion of as-builts and RAMM data, and defects rectification during the 12 month Defects Liability Period.

TCC and WBOPDC will directly procure the VSL units from an approved supplier, with procurement anticipated to be completed prior to contract award.
