Overview

This is a Request for Proposal process. Final interviews will be held for the highest scorers’ bids, from which our final evaluations will be made.
The existing contract will now be split into three (3) separate contracts:
• TC514/24 – Pest Animal Control
• TC93/25 – Pest Animal Monitoring
• TC13/25 – Pest Animal Shooting Specialist

NOTE: We are ideally looking for separate suppliers for TC93/25 – Pest Animal Monitoring and TC514/25 – Pest Animal Control, however if you can demonstrate your impartiality between monitoring and control, we may award these two contracts to one supplier. You are also able to apply for TC13/25 – Pest Animal Shooting Specialist contract in conjunction with either of the other contracts.

TC13/25 – Pest Animal Shooting Specialist
We are seeking a shooting specialist who has the experience and capability of managing Pest Animal Shooting operations within the urban environment. Suppliers will need to hold a current firearms license, demonstrate strong firearms safety measures, understanding of animal behaviour, provide an efficient methodology and detailed operational reporting. The supplier will also operate in accordance with relevant NZ legislation when undertaking terrestrial pest control.
The scope will include surveillance and cyclic shooting operations in parks and reserve areas across our city to undertake the sustained control of pest animal populations.
