Overview

Tauranga City Council invites tenders for this contract for which the works/services comprise:

The physical works construction of the project known as Transport Choices along Grenada. This Transport Choices project includes a two-way, separated cycle path on the south side of Grenada Street as well as a new shared path through Arataki Park, a morning peak bus lane along a short section of Grenada Street and improved pedestrian crossing facilities.
Included in the scope of works:
• Construction of 1.7km of physically separated cycleway on the existing Grenada St carriageway from Sandhurst to Monowai
• 500m of new Asphalt shared path through Arataki Park
• Raised safety platforms
• Minor stormwater, kerb realignment and pavement works for intersections and raised safety platforms
• Streetlighting
• Traffic services – signs and linemarking.
• Service investigation
• Temporary Traffic Management
• Stakeholder Management – collaborating with TCC comms and engagement team
