The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of an upcoming release of tender for the construction works to upgrade the Tauranga Animal Services Dog Pound located on Hewletts Road, Mount Maunganui.

The upgrade requires the extensions at the dog pound in three specific areas:

I. A new reception and carpark upgrade

II. New dog exercise area

III. New vet nurse/dog wash area and upgrade of storeroom

The work will be completed under a Minor Works Contract.

This is a one stage process.

Indicative timeframes:
Request for tender anticipated to be released: 16th October 2023
Project Commencement: 15th January 2024
Project Completion: 15th April 2024
