The purpose of this notice is to advise interested parties that TCC will be providing a pre tender briefing on this upcoming project.
Background
The project involves developing the concept to detailed design, detailed specification, drafting of tender documents and drawings for construction, evaluation of tenders with regards to upgrading Taurikura Drive and its surroundings, focusing on signalisation, road improvements, land requirements, and coordination with various stakeholders, while minimising:
• the disruption to existing Taurikura Drive infrastructure; and
• the extent of the additional Tauranga Crossing Shopping (TCL) Land and impact of the proposed additional TCL Land transfer on the future development of the Tauranga Crossing Shopping Centre.
This upgrade is part of a larger development plan for the area as identified by both the Urban Form and Transport Initiative and Western Bay of Plenty Transport System Plan including a Public Transport Hub which will be developed at a later date.

Briefing details:
TCC invites contractors and suppliers to join us for an online on Tuesday, 19 September 2023 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.
Please email jasmin.burness@tauranga.govt.nz to register and confirm attendees by no later than Tuesday, 19 September 2023 12pm
The briefing will be held via MS Teams. Suppliers who register for the briefing will be sent an email with the link to the briefing
Please note, the briefing invite is limited to a maximum of two representatives per company.
