Tauranga City Council invites proposals for this contract for which the works/services comprise: (continue below)

The management, maintenance and renewals of streetlighting within the Tauranga City boundary (both local roads and state highways).
Activities include:
• Replacement of existing streetlights as part of a renewals programme
• Testing of Residual Current Devices (RCD).
• Testing & maintenance of column shear bases.
• Inspection and maintenance of TCC car parks and reserves lighting
• Incident and emergency response.
• Asset data management.
• Customer response.
The aim of this contract is to proactively manage the maintenance and operational activities of the city’s streetlight network to meet the expectations of TCC’s stakeholders, within budgets set by TCC and Waka Kotahi, and in compliance with both TCC and Waka Kotahi strategies and requirements. The contract period shall be for 3 years with an option for the contract to be extended by an additional 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance.
