SUMMARY OF THIS ROI

The Tauranga City Council (TCC) is seeking professional services for stormwater planning, design, and modelling. The purpose of this procurement is to establish a panel of competent suppliers who can provide their services for a duration of five years under a framework agreement. The objective is to have up to six suppliers, with a maximum of five for Category (A) Stormwater Planning, Design, and Applied Modelling and one for Category (B) Specialist Modelling Assistance. A consultant can win one or both categories.
Note –
• This panel will be open panel, if and when the need arises, additional suppliers, additional local councils in Bay of Plenty region, and related work categories may be added to the panel.
• The panel contracts will commence in October 2023 for an initial 2 years with 3 yearly renewals based on KPI reviews. While the council reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time for various reasons such as Water Reform, the council’s new and wider procurement arrangement being in place etc., our intention is that the panel will be a 5-year commitment with the preferred professional services providers.
• To ensure a seamless transition to the new entity in the event that the Water Reform proceeds, we will establish suitable contract with each supplier. These contracts will be designed to facilitate a smooth handover of services to the new entity.
