The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of upcoming release of an RFP for an Engineer to Contract and Engineers Representative services contract.
This is a single stage process.
Tauranga City Council (TCC) is currently implementing a programme of works to upgrade the eastern corridor trunk wastewater network including the Opal Drive and Wairakei pump stations. Construction of the new Opal Drive pump station is scheduled to commence in quarter two 2023. The Wairakei pump station has not been designed yet, the successful contractor will have input into the design through Early Contractor Involvement (ECI).
A suitably qualified and experienced Engineer to Contract (EtC) and Engineers Representative (ER) are required to be part of the delivery team for the Opal and Wairakei pump stations.
We are happy to receive bids for one or both roles from suppliers, suppliers should not feel they have to bid for both roles.
We expect construction of the Opal PS to commence in May/June 2023.

Request for Proposals is anticipated to be released in early February 2023 on Tenderlink ( www.tenderlin.com/tauranga)
Project Commencement: May 2023
