Details of this ROI:

Tauranga City Council is looking to engage a consultant to a Corporate Sustainability Plan, including Tauranga City Council becomes a more sustainable organisation in the years to come.

The areas of work will cover greenhouse gas emissions reduction risk and risk resilience across Council operations, and a just transition framework that recognises inclusion, fairness equity along the Council's value chain
.
While Tauranga City Council is working to achieve sustainable outcomes for our city and
community, we also need to look at our own organisation and ensure that we apply
sustainability to everything we do.

We need goals, actions and targets that inform how Tauranga City Council reduces its
greenhouse gas emissions, manages physical and transition risks, and ensures a just
transition now and in the future.

The output will be a Corporate Sustainability Plan that subsequently can be mainstreamed into our strategic framework and long-term planning.

We are looking for an evidence-based approach, meaning that
quantitative data such as corporate greenhouse gas inventory, risk assessment, and scenario analysis will form the foundation of the plan.
