Details of this RFP:

Tauranga City Council invites proposals for this contract .

This procurement relates to the selection and establishment of Security Operations Centre services incorporating Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration and Response (SOAR) solutions.

The Security Operations Centre will be expected to provide people, process, and technology to continuously monitor and improve TCC's posture while preventing, detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents around the clock - 24*7*365 days per year.

This is expected to be an 'eyes on glass' operation.

The overall outcomes that we want to achieve are:

1. SOC services, processes, and technology to address essential security events around the clock 24*7*365 days per year identified by the SIEM, SOAR and other provider tools.
2. SOAR to automatically execute repetitive tasks and improve incident response with seamless tool integration and data reporting.
3. Provide real-time visibility delivering cost effective outcomes in preventing attacks on TCC.
4. Allows our security specialists to focus on knowledge-based work, in collaboration with our SOC provider
