Overview

Tauranga City Council will be releasing a Request for Tender to the open market during the course of next week between the 17th and 19th November 2021. (Tender will be released at www.tenderlink.com/tauranga . There is NO charge for registration - ensure you are on the TCC Portal by following this link to the website address - www.tenderlink.com/tauranga )

The opportunity is for the procurement of Compliance and Regulatory Services relating to Noise Control, Animal Control, Freedom Camping and Static Guard Services at the Mount Holiday Park within the city limits of Tauranga.

Below is an outline of the services to be provided which will be expanded on in the RFT documents.

TC3/22 Scope for Noise Control

Provide customer service requirements to both public and Council

Receive, respond, and attend noise control complaints notified by the Council within agreed timeframes

Resolve noise complaints to the satisfaction of both the public and Council

Serve Noise Direction Notices in the instance of excessive noise.

Notify Council of job completion

Seize equipment, keep inventory of equipment, check and note existing damage and keep secure

Deliver seized equipment to Council specified storage facility

Liaise with Police and Fire Service etc., as required

Staff training

On time and accurate reporting to include but not be limited to:

the nature and resolution of noise control incident received, attended, and resolved

noise control trends across the region

seized property including damage and claims

TC3/22 Scope for Animal Control

Processing service requests.

Dog Collections - Impounding of captured dogs.

Attendance where dogs have acted aggressively.

Attendance at the Dog Pound during public open times and on other occasions as required.

Pound Alarm activations if requested.

Monitoring of Barking Dogs if requested.

Random patrols of dog restricted areas if requested.

Attending dog, stock and other animal service requests during:

Weekends;

Public holidays:

Weekdays between the hours of 3:30pm and 08:30am the following day.

TC3/22 Scope for Freedom Camping

All specified locations are proactively patrolled between 10pm and 5am on required nights and required enforcement action taken.

All complaints are attended to between 10pm and 5am seven nights per week and required enforcement action taken.
