Historic Village Venue Renewal/Upgrade - Complex One

Tauranga City Council invites tenders for the refurbishment project Complex 1 Historic Village, Tauranga.
The Historic Village is a collection of original and replica buildings from early Tauranga, set in gorgeous gardens and natural bush surround. These wonderful character buildings are home to over 50 entities including retail shops and businesses and community organisations.

An existing building known as Complex 1 contains a number of tenancies; the space concerned with this renovation project is currently managed by Tauranga City Council and is hired to various groups as a function centre.
This project aims to refurbish this tenancy of Complex 1. The refurbishment works will involve an upgrade to the main hall, entries, bar and toilet area on the ground floor. These works are required to improve the overall layout and maximise the potential of the venue. The kitchen and bar area will undergo upgrades to enable their use for functional space as they are currently not in a usable state due to compliance and being of a poor condition.
Internally, the Complex 1 function room tenancy will have a new toilet layout constructed providing compliant accessible facilities and access routes. A new bar space is to be installed. Wall, floor and ceiling finishes are to be updated.
