Tauranga City Council invites tenders for this Physical Works tender for the construction the construction of a 72m long pedestrian overbridge above Route K (Takitimu Drive), a 20m long pedestrian footbridge over the Kopurererua Stream and associated pedestrian / cycle path construction.
The works will include:
Supply and installation of a new 72m long (3m wide) steel box truss pedestrian footbridge across Route K / Takitimu Drive (including piers, abutments, concrete walkway and other associated structural works);
Supply and installation of a new 20m long (3m wide), single span steel truss pedestrian footbridge over the Kopurererua Stream at the end of Wylie St (including piers, abutments, concrete walkway and other associated structural works);
Construction of a shared pedestrian/cycle path connecting the new pedestrian footbridge(s) to the existing shared pedestrian/cycle path;
Replacement of stormwater culvert;
Installation of landscaping, fencing, street furniture and miscellaneous civil works (minor earthworks)
