Overview

The Principal Tasman District Council is inviting tenders for Contract 1723 Road Maintenance.

We are seeking experienced road maintenance contractors to partner with us in delivering safe, reliable and resilient transport services across the district from 1 July 2027.
The opportunity is split into two contract areas: Golden Bay/Murchison and Tasman/ Waimea. Together, these areas cover a diverse transport network that supports local communities, businesses, freight, tourism, primary industries and regional resilience.

We are looking for contractors that can bring strong people, practical systems, local delivery capability, sound asset information, smart maintenance planning and a genuine partnership approach.

These contracts are long-term opportunities to help shape how Tasman’s transport network is maintained into the future, strengthen resilience, support better asset decisions and deliver lasting value for the region.
