Overview
Funding Model Review for Aged Residential Care.
The model for funding services to meet the needs of residents in aged residential care was developed pre-2000. Parties to this funding approach believe it is timely to review this model for its currency and appropriateness in today’s environment.
The 20 District Health Boards are seeking therefore to appoint an agency to undertake a review of the funding model, to identify alternative options and make recommendations for a funding model and approach that recognises both the environment and challenges of today and into the future.
