This Contract is for the renewal and upgrade of storm water services in Tai Road in South Taranaki as a response to a flooding event. The work includes but is not limited to replacement of existing storm water, boulder stream bank protection, earthworks, storm water drainage, pavement construction, fencing and coordination with local utility providers.
Contractors are expected to achieve the highest standard of performance in all aspects of this project. In particular, the Contractor shall pay attention to actively managing pipe grades, reinstatement of pavement and reinstatement of berms.
The work in this contract includes but is not limited to, the supply of labour, plant and materials, along with payment of any road fees, permits etc for:
(a) Site clearance.
(b) Earthworks; including cut to fill, importing and placement of engineered fill.
(c) Remove of existing pipes and structures.
(d) The supply and installation of storm water infrastructure including pipes and manholes
(e) The supply and installation of stream bank protection
(f) Reinstatement and reconstruction of roads
(g) Fencing and Landscaping
