Scion is a Crown Research Institute (CRI), which is a government-owned company that carries out scientific research for the benefit of New Zealand. We specialise in research, science and technology development for the forestry, wood and wood-derived materials and other biomaterial sectors.
Scion are looking for a Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) to assist us in the planning and organisation of the ForestSAT conference to be held from 9-13 September, 2024. The Conference will be held in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and will have an estimated 300-500 attendees.
We are looking for a PCO with a proven track record organising large international science conferences and that can demonstrate an innovative approach to showcase Rotorua and New Zealand. Our preference is a PCO with IAPCO accreditation and or BEIA PCO Approved. Suppliers must have a New Zealand presence, with staff actively working in New Zealand. The conference will be over a five-day period with a field trip.
