Sport NZ is seeking a provider to evaluate the implementation and impact of the Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa Fund (Tū Manawa). Tū Manawa is a new activation fund provided over four years to enable the delivery of quality opportunities and experiences in play, active recreation and sport for tamariki and rangatahi. We are looking for a credible research/evaluation provider who can offer an effective design, and methods, to answer our evaluation questions.
We expect the successful provider will have significant capability and applied evaluation experience in a range of contexts including Māori settings. You will have proven experience using different evaluation methodologies and have, or can quickly develop, an in-depth understanding of the play, active recreation and sport system.
We envisage that a successful provider will work collaboratively with Sport NZ to ensure we get independent, high-quality, and actionable evidence that forms the backbone of our decision-making.
