Stats NZ produces and supplies the data and statistics that inform decisions across the country: for government, for business, for iwi, for communities, for academics, for media, and for households and individuals.
But producing good data isn’t enough. People need to be able to find it, understand it, see how it can make a difference to their lives, and use it. This project is about rethinking how we deliver our content online.
Stats NZ is seeking a professional services and support provider to design, build and provide ongoing support for a new Stats NZ website, to replace the existing www.stats.govt.nz.
Our needs consist of three main inter-related elements:
Visual interface – the actual website that users access and see,
Content Management System (CMS) – the underlying system upon which the website and functionality is built, and
Post-implementation support and ongoing enhancements to the platform over its lifespan.
We need a Supplier to collaborate with Stats NZ to agree a preferred way to transition to the future state, implement best practices, and manage the work pressures on our BAU staff. The solution developed must meet all Government standards for digital and security.
We have released this opportunity to panel suppliers on the Marketplace Catalogue for Digital Experience Professional Services (DEPS).
We will host a briefing session at 10am on 13 November. Please register your attendance to the briefing by contacting our Point of Contact and you will be sent an invitation to the Teams event.
