Survey Interview Services Partner

Stats NZ invites suppliers to submit proposals to provide survey interview services to collect data for national statistics. The successful supplier will be able to collect large volumes of high-quality data on a national basis. However, we anticipate that a multi model approach would be required with at least one form of technical collection (e.g., telephone, video interviewing, respondent portal, etc) supported by in person interviewing so that all population groups can be accessed effectively.

Stats NZ is New Zealand's official data agency. The survey services will be an important mechanism for collecting data for official statistics. Therefore, the approach to service delivery must support the values and quality standards required for data collected for national statistical outputs. We are seeking to develop a partnering relationship with the successful respondent to deliver key parts of Stats NZ’s programme of periodic surveys.

This is a significant contract opportunity, with potential to establish a long-term relationship as Stats NZ’s Survey Services Partner. Depending on the success of initial work and Stats NZ’s future data collection capacity and requirements, the successful supplier may be engaged to deliver data collection activities for future surveys or elements of future survey collection.
