Overview

We want to procure a Microsoft Sentinel ready Security Operations Centre (SOC) service. Previously, SOC services have been provided as part of an existing Security Incident and Event Management service (SIEM) contract. We wish to take advantage of our current Microsoft licence, which includes Sentinel and join existing security tools to it, to gain greater assurance.

A SOC which is compatible with the Sentinel Security Incident Event Monitoring (Sentinel) service, currently in use by Stats NZ.
The key objective of this procurement is to link existing security monitoring tools with a 24/7 SOC and to make more effective and economic use of a SIEM service. This will involve moving log sources from the existing service to Sentinel.
