This plan relates to the purchase of consultancy services to support a review of the Stats NZ Data Archive, to be completed in the period May-June 2021.

The aim is to provide a self-assessment report against ISO 16363 - Audit and certification of trustworthy digital repositories.
The review will use the self-assessment template at http://www.iso16363.org/sdm_downloads/iso-16363-self-assessment-template/a and as far as possible follow the processes and practices explained in ISO 16363 and ISO 16919.

An external, independent consultant with some knowledge of data management and data preservation will be required to complete this work.
