Overview

Stats NZ is issuing this RFI to test the market for potential support partners able to provide ongoing support for the methodological review for the statistical models. Responses to this RFI will be used to inform Stats procurement planning and identify organisations and their expertise in supporting the methodological review.

Stats NZ is looking for a partner to provide ongoing methodological review for statistical models developed by Data Ventures team. Currently Data Ventures has brokered two main datasets, cell phone data that produces hourly population counts for local geographies and merchant data that produces daily spending and number of transactions for industry classification and local geographies.
We are interested in the level of expertise the potential partner could deliver to improve and assure the quality of the statistical models developed by Data Ventures.
