Overview
An unprecedented heavy rain event occurred between 21-22 September 2023 in Southland and Otago. This resulted in washouts and scouring on the Around the Mountains Cycle Trail rendering several areas as unpassable and other areas difficult to ride. We are seeking a contractor to undertake repair work to meet the Grade 2 standard of a NZCT Great Ride, improve trail resilience and restoring a high-quality riding experience for cyclists.
