Overview
The Southland District Council head office is located at 15 Forth Street, Invercargill.
The office accommodates about 120 employees and is the site of the main customer support area, the main governance functions, including the Council Chambers and several meeting rooms.
The Council is looking to engage a consultant to study the needs of Council for a head office building and to assess the options for fulfilling those needs. A primary driver for this study is the condition of the current buildings and the need for significant maintenance and upgrading.
