Overview

The purpose of this Request for Information and Pricing (RFIP) is to invite interested parties to register their interest and submit information relevant to the provision of Stewart Island Wharfing Community Engagement and Consultation Services to assist the Council to determine whether or not it wishes to proceed with a procurement of these services.

Southland District Council is considering a more strategic approach to the current and future provision of wharves on Stewart Island, demand for such, the quantity and quality of provision requirements. As part of this work, the Stewart Island Community and interested Stakeholders are to be consulted on the current and future provision of wharves on the island and the actual and perceived value to their livelihood and tourism opportunities.

The Council seeks information from interested parties to assist it with the Engagement process and by providing a report on the results of the Community and Stakeholder Consultation which will then be included in the Southland District Council Long Term Plan 2018.
