Overview

This RFP relates to the sourcing a building partner to undertake the construction of the Clyde Primary Birthing Unit located on the Dunstan Hospital grounds in Clyde.

The building designs (See Appendix D-M) have been completed by Jasmax to meet the scope required by the service and have undergone extensive community and sector consultation. Under the current inflationary environment, and ongoing cost escalations within the construction sector, there is concern that the current funding allocation may be under pressure and insufficient to complete the current designs. If a tender is above budget allocation for the project, it is anticipated that the submission allows for the contractor to provide value engineering and practical cost reduction suggestions to enable the project to come in on or close to budget.

Due to file size and confidentiality reasons the Design documents will be made available to interested parties via a separate link. Please contact Mitchell.turner@southerndhb.govt.nz to get access.
