With the release of this Request for Information, New Zealand’s first next generation smart digital hospital is a step closer – and the technology underpinning the New Dunedin Hospital will make a positive difference in the lives of patients.
Via this RFI SDHB intends to engage early with the market to understand more about the Digital SOLUTIONS available in the market; SDHB is NOT seeking information about Digital Infrastructure at this time.
The SDHB looks forward to hearing from digital and IT companies and learning more about the opportunities that are available for transforming our health system and improving experiences for our patients and staff.
Please note that as per clause 3.8 of these RFI terms, Respondents cannot not directly or indirectly approach any representative of the Buyer, or any other person, to solicit information concerning any aspect of the RFI. All questions must be directed via this GETS listing

Thank you for taking the time to respond to this Request for Information.
We were very pleased to receive a large number of responses from a number of different suppliers, this information has been collated, analysed and actively used to complete our procurement planning for the programme.
We are now working hard to support the completion of our Detailed Business Case; at this stage we do not anticipate initiating any procurements for Digital Solutions initiating until next calendar year. Wherever possible we will be providing the market with advance notice of this activity.
