South Canterbury District Health Board (“SCHDB”) requires provision of Laundry Services (“the Services”) to Timaru Hospital, Talbot Park, other related health providers and other commercial customers. SCDHB has a strong preference to ensure staff currently employed at Timaru Hospital’s internal laundry services are retained by the Successful Respondent, at the staff member’s current terms and conditions.
This ROI is seeking a range of options that could meet the needs of the South Canterbury DHB and its customers.
SCDHB also has sundry laundry capital items that may be available to the Successful Respondent, as well as a number of contracts with commercial entities.
This ROI is being released by Southern District Health Board on behalf of SCDHB, and is the first stage in a two-stage procurement process. A closed Request for Proposal (RFP) will be sent to suitable Respondents to this ROI in mid to late-June 2019.
