Overview
Stratford District Council is working to improve playground equipment across three playgrounds in Stratford to ensure compliance with playground safety standards.
As part of this initiative, the Rocket Ship at the King Edward Park playground (Elephant Park) has been identified for replacement following an inspection by a qualified council officer.
Council is proposing to install a new 3-Bay Swing Set where the current Rocket Ship is located.
The removal of the Rocket Ship is to be removed by others before the installation of the swing set, and is not part of this RFQ.
Works for this RFQ include suppling and installing a 3-bay swing set that meets NZS5828:2015 Playground Equipment and Surfacing standards.
