Stratford District Council owns ten (10) Housing for Older Persons units located at 37 Page Street, Stratford. These units are spread across five (5) separate buildings. As part of the 2024–2034 Long Term Plan, funding has been approved for the complete replacement of the roofs of the buildings. The existing roofing iron and flashings are in poor condition, having undergone multiple repairs since the buildings were constructed. These repairs are now failing, leading to water ingress into the ceiling cavities. To prevent further interior damage and maintain the structural and weather-tight integrity of the units, full roof replacement is required for all five (5) buildings.
