Overview
The Refurbishment Project may be described in two parts:
EXTERIOR
Exterior refurbishment of the existing Aotea Centre building. Includes the removal of existing external elements of the Aotea Centre building and its recladding using modern materials, textures and colours; including brushed and coloured stainless steel, glazing, fibreglass, Trespa panelling and the addition of a green roof.
INTERIOR
Interior (foyer) refurbishment of the existing Aotea Centre building. Includes the renewal of materials, new balustrades, reconfiguration of some ramps and stairs, cosmetic upgrade to some existing bars and a fire cell change to level 1 Levene foyer.
