Auckland Conventions is the operational business unit of Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA) that manages corporate and private events at many of Auckland’s iconic venues including; ANZ Viaduct Events Centre, Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, the Civic Theatre, QBE Stadium and the Bruce Mason Centre. These events include but are not limited to conferences, conventions, seminars, meetings, exhibitions, product launches, gala dinners, awards ceremonies, cocktail functions, Christmas parties, school balls and weddings.
Auckland Conventions are focused on providing Extraordinary Event Experiences through exciting and varied venue choices and high quality end to end service delivery. Auckland Conventions approach incorporates Choice, Flexibility, Trust and Expertise and guided by the following values;

Suppliers would be expected to align to these values creating a ‘united’ approach to our business

The aim of RFA in this process is to seek proposals from selected organisations who are interested in making an offer for the supply of catering services as either:
a) a sole supplier or;
b) as one of two suppliers.

Auckland Conventions wish to enter a mutually beneficial stakeholder arrangement with the successful supplier/suppliers, that would cover all ‘in scope’ venues and at least 90% of ‘in scope’ events.

The scope includes:
• Catering services for Auckland Conventions corporate and private functions

The venues included are:
• Aotea Centre
• Auckland Town Hall
• The Civic Theatre
• ANZ Viaduct Events Centre
• Auckland Art Gallery
• Bruce Mason Centre
• QBE Stadium Function Centre – functions and corporate boxes (does not include retail / concessions for events)
• Other venues as required by RFA at its sole discretion
