Parliamentary Service intends to go to market for a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Services and Plumbing contract. The contract scope will include all assets currently within the Parliamentary Precinct.
The anticipated procurement approach is a two-stage competitive procurement. This will consist of an open Registration of Interest (ROI) and followed by a closed Request for Proposal (RFP) from suppliers shortlisted from the ROI. The ROI is expected to be released in November 2023 and closing early December 2023. Note – the outcome from the ROI will be released in early January 2024. The RFP is scheduled for release in early March 2024 with a contract commencement date in Quarter 3, 2024. (Note – these are indicative dates and more information will be released with the ROI).
