Overview
Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) is transforming the vacant ground floor of the Civic Administration Building (CAB) into a dedicated community facility. The design for the interior fit-out has been completed (reference attachments) and the building consent application is currently under review. This redevelopment aims to create a functional, safe and welcoming space for the people of Palmerston North. The new Multicultural Hub will be operated by the Manawatū Multicultural Council (MMC) and will offer support, resources and activities for individuals from a wide range of cultural backgrounds across the city.
The remainder of the building needs to continue to operate as normal while this redevelopment is undertaken.
