This is an Advance Notice for procuring a competent construction supplier for our Whakarongo Attenuation Pond, Palmerston North. This project is to improve the stormwater discharge to support the land development around the area.

This project involves over 30,000 cu.m. of excavation, backfilling to form the wetland, planting, related stormwater connection, truck track for maintenance, fence erection, etc.

The tentative schedule is:
- advertise the tender at the end of September
- negotiation and contract award before Christmas 2023
- site mobilise in January 2024
- heavy earthwork around in Feb/Mar 2024.
