This procurement relates to the reconstruction of Setters Line Road stage 2 in Palmerston North. Stage 1 was the construction of the footpath on the eastern side of the road and it is excluded from this project. The upgrade of the road would enable expansion of commercial development in the area by providing a road suitable for heavy duty vehicles and ability to connect to upgraded utilities.

This RFT relates to the purchase of services from a roading contractor with the ability to provide construction for the upgrade of Setters Line. The scope of work includes:
• Widening of existing road
• Pavement construction
• Footpath construction
