The Te Awarua o Porirua Riparian Management Programme is about getting plants in the ground - 627,790 plants in the first five years and possibly many more if further funding is provided. This high-profile, nationally recognised, project aims to restore the mauri (life force) of Te Awarua o Porirua and has the support of PCC and the residents of the wider harbour catchment community.

Delivering this work programme requires suitably qualified and experienced contracts with the capacity and capability to undertake the works, and meet the requirements defined in the attached schedules.

We require four contractors, who we can allocate to sites of varying size and complexity, to best utilise your capacity and capability. Planting sites may vary in size from 500 to 50,000 plants.
