Porirua City Council currently operates 29 Public Toilet facilities.

The procurement is for a long term contract for the cleaning of the Public Toilets. The current Public Toilets Cleaning and Sanitising contract expires on 31st October 2015 at the end of its 3 Year plus 2 Year tenure. The outcomes the contract seeks are as follows:

• Public Toilets are cleaned..
• Customers are satisfied with our service
• Specifications are achieved..

Buildings retained by council are used for operational, social and community activities.
Buildings are also acquired for the furtherance of the City’s strategic and economic objectives.
