To determine the closed list, Oranga Tamariki looked at existing Waikato-based s396 and s362 Care partners who have the proven experience to successfully deliver services within the Pilot timeframe. Other s396 and s362 Care partners were not selected as they either only deliver staffed care in community homes or are developing capability in caregiver placements but cannot meet the required timeframe. A closed procurement process was completed with providers, and Key Assets were awarded the contract with the highest score from the panel.
