This RFP is a follow-on from the ROI released in April 2025. Oranga Tamariki has chosen to separate this scanning component from the broader Secure Cloud Print solution due to a specialist requirement from the Customer Information Requests (CIR) team.

Please note that a full Secure Cloud Print RFP will still be released at a later date. Shortlisted providers from the ROI may choose to respond to this Scanner RFP or wait for the upcoming full Secure Cloud Print RFP. This Scanner RFP is being treated as a standalone procurement process.

The proposed solution must support Oranga Tamariki’s high-volume and complex scanning needs, with a strong focus on reliability, efficiency, and ease of use. It must meet the operational requirements of the CIR team, which processes upwards of 9 million pages annually. The solution must deliver consistent performance under heavy workloads and minimise manual intervention to ensure timely and accurate document handling.
