Oranga Tamariki has an ambitious transformation programme to achieve its fundamental goal of ensuring
that tamariki that come to our notice are in loving whānau and communities where oranga can be realised.
The work programme is complex with a dual focus on operational and strategic change, that once
completed, will enable a better response to the evolving needs of tamariki and rangatahi.
We are seeking a supplier to establish and form the Transformation Management Office (TMO), a central
function of the Transformation structure. This will require a supplier with extensive transformation
experience in the public service to partner and work with us to drive forward our transformation
programme. We are seeking suppliers who understand the role of Oranga Tamariki and shares its values
about creating the right environment that enables children to flourish within whānau, hapū, iwi and
communities
