What we need
The Otago Regional Council (ORC) operates three STED facilities in Otago: SH85/Brassknocker Road, Raes Junction, and Tarras. This RFQ is to procure operations and maintenance services from a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the proper functioning of the STED facilities.
What we don’t want
We do not want suppliers who will seek to subcontract this work. We also do not want suppliers who do not have the ability to dispose of the effluent in a lawful manner.
What’s important to us
It is important to us that the Contractor is able to work to a schedule, as well as provide a timely response to ad-hoc requests that may be automatically generated by the monitoring equipment. It is also important for us to be satisfied that the disposal of the effluent will be undertaken lawfully, and in full compliance with any local restrictions. Lastly, it is important that the services represent best value-for-money over the whole-of-life of the contract.
