The Otago Regional Council (ORC) invite tenders for the provision of analytical laboratory services for water sample testing.
Water samples are routinely collected from rivers, lakes and groundwater aquifers as part of State of the Environment (SoE) monitoring programmes carried out by most regional and unitary councils across New Zealand. The water samples collected as part of these programmes require analysis for a wide range of physical, chemical and microbiological variables. As SoE data are used in temporal trend analysis, maintaining consistency in all aspects of sample analysis is critical.
The proposed contract (if any) from this procurement would commence on 1 August 2017 and be for a period of 23 months (subject to continued satisfactory performance) to expire 30 June 2019, with the option to renew for a further three years (on a 12, 24 or 36 month basis) at the sole discretion of Otago Regional Council.
