What we need
The Privacy Act 2020 will create the biggest change in privacy protection in 26 years. To that end, we need to consider new and innovative ways to reach the right audiences with the right messages. Our office needs a smart and eye-catching campaign which New Zealanders will take notice of that tells them about the new law.
New Zealanders need to know what the Act does for them, and how the Privacy Commissioner can now take more steps to ensure their information is better protected.
What’s important to us
The Office is looking for credible providers who have the capability and experience to plan and deliver our media campaign. They need to have a good track record in the management and implementation of government related media campaigns.
A bit about us
The Privacy Commissioner's Office works to develop and promote a culture in which personal information is protected and respected. The Office has a wide range of functions. Some of these include investigating complaints about breaches of privacy, running education programmes, and examining proposed legislation and how it may affect individual privacy.
The Privacy Act applies to almost every person, business or organisation in New Zealand.
