Overview

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) ‘s contracted Front Counter Services currently provide services such as Road User Charges (RUC), driver licensing related transactions and theory testing, and motor vehicle licensing and registration. The current contracts expire on 30 June 2027.

NZTA wishes to invite suppliers to participate in a non-binding, voluntary market sounding process to help NZTA understand market interest in this opportunity, and gather feedback and considerations to support the development of the procurement process, the commercial model, and transition and implementation plan.

The market sounding sessions are intended for suppliers who have front counter services across one or more regions in New Zealand. Please refer to the information pack for further detail on Front Counter Services, key discussion topics, and how to register for a one-on-one session with NZTA.

Market sounding sessions will be held online via Microsoft Teams from 8 to 24 April. Registrations close on 17 April, 6pm.
