This Physical Works contract involves the construction and stabilization of Crown Resilience sites Mohaka Underslip 4 and 5, located along State Highway 2 RS562 RP 0.7. These sites were initially compromised during Cyclone Gabrielle, which caused significant slope instability and shoulder failures. Since then, the affected areas have shown progressive deterioration, including widening cracks and loss of shoulder material posing risks to road safety and network resilience.

The Contract Works comprise of:

• Mechanical Stabilise Earth on Road Shoulder
• Installation of ground beam
• Installation of Kerb and Channel
• Drainage Improvement
• Pavement and surfacing works

Only tenderers pre-qualified to all the below stated categories and levels (either independently or through subcontracting) under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.
  
• Construction - Level C and above (1A,4A, 1C,4C, 1B,2B or 4B).
